Nagarkot Dhulikhel Trek is one of the most popular trekking outside Kathmandu. Nagarkot is located just 35km far from Kathmandu. We recommend you to take Nagarkot and Dhulikhel Trek if you are looking for short treks in Nepal.  The nearest hill station from Kathmandu- Nagarkot view tower offers spectacular views of Central Himalaya including Langtang Mountain, Gaurishankar Mountain, Ganesh Mountain and Manaslu Mountain.
Dhulikhel is the ancient Newari town. Legend has it that this town was established by citizens of Bhaktapur who fled to Dhulikhel during war period. Dhulikhel trek continues along Banepa and Nala. Enjoy the views of Nagarjun hill, Phulchowki hill, Shivpuri hill and Kathmandu city from Dhulikhel. It is also popular for sunrise view. Chandeswori temple, Lokeswor temple and Nala Bhagwati temple should not be missed while we are in Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel is also the important picnic destination.

Day01: Kathmandu Arrival
Once you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will go through custom formalities. Later, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to hotel. You will receive briefing regarding your trekking schedule. Enjoy pleasant stay in one of the star hotels in Kathmandu.

Day02: Drive to Sankhu, Trek to Nagarkot
After breakfast, we will leave Kathmandu and drive to ancient Sankhu town which was founded around 1st century BC. Four gates were built at its four entry points for security purpose. Nagarkot Dhulikhel Trekking begins from Newari town of Sankhu. Walk along rustic houses and crop fields to holy Sali River where Swasthani ceremony is observed during month of Magh. 4hrs of trek from Sankhu will take us to Nagarkot where we will stay overnight.

Day03: Nagarkot to Dhulikhel
Nagarkot is the nearest hill station from Kathmandu. It is famous for its breathtaking sunrise view over Everest. Walk up to the view tower early in the morning for sunrise view. The tower offers breathtaking views of Kathmandu valley. Leaving Nagarkot, follow Araniko Highway for about 1.5hrs to reach Dhulikhel which is the ancient Newari town. Visit Dhaneswar temple and Chandeswori temple. Stay in Resort in Dhulikhel.

Day04: Dhulikhel to Kathmandu
Get close-up view of Everest from Dhulikhel. Return to Kathmandu. This is a free day. You are on your own. Stroll leisurely around Thamel street or visit Garden of Dreams.

Day05: Departure
Sadly, Nagarkot Dhulikhel trekking comes to an end on this day. You will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport three hours before your flight schedule. Safe Journey.
