Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival
Once you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will go through custom formalities. Later, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to hotel. You will receive briefing regarding your trekking schedule. Enjoy pleasant stay in one of the star hotels in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Budanilkantha, Trek to Dhap
About 30 minutes of drive will take us to Budhanilkantha. We will visit Narayanthan temple which holds the tallest stone sculpture of Lord Vishnu in sleeping posture. From Budhanilkantha, we will trek to Shivapuri Hill. It takes about 5hrs of trek to reach Shivapuri National Park. Walk along the forest area that is rich in flora and fauna and pass through few Tamang villages to Chisapani from where we will head to Dhap. We can get close up views of Dorje Lakpa, Langtang Ri and other mountains to the north.
Day 03: Dhap to Nagarkot
Leaving Dhap, we will follow the ascending trail along green hill to reach Chauki Bhanjyang from where the trail passes along forest of blooming rhododendron to Nagarkot. One can capture panoramic views of mountains ranging from Dhaulagiri to Everest including five eight thousanders mountains from Nagarkot view tower. We will enjoy bird watching in the forest of Nagarkot and stay overnight in a luxurious resort.
Day 04: Nagarkot to Kathmandu
Leave Nagarkot early in the morning. Drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Visit Dattatreya Square, Nyatapol Temple and golden gate. Drive back to Kathmandu. You are on your own. Enjoy your free day. Have a pleasant stay at hotel.
Day 05: Departure
This is the last day of Shivapuri Nagarkot trek. You will be assisted in last minute preparation and then transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport three hours before your flight schedule. Have a Safe Journey. We expect to see you soon.
